When I got up at 7:30 (after being rudely woken up at 5:30 by Mr. Cat looking for food), the other boat in the bay was gone. We saw them getting everything put away last night so knew they were leaving. Rod does the morning feeding so he got up at 5:30 to feed the cat & they were still here but then he started watching a video & didn't see them go. It was foggy & 64.
Another Canadian boat came in about noon to replace the one that left. Then around 4:00, another GB tied up to the first buoy in the south bay. Eventually the owner rowed over to our side & talked to Rod & the other boater here.
Both Rod & I spent time up on the flybridge today, as it's once again warm & sunny, got up to 75'. Visited with the other boater in our bay. They have a dog on board & tried to take him to shore & saw a black bear. He also said they tried to take the dog to shore right by us & saw a large bear scat so he thinks there was a big bear back there too somewhere. Another boat came into Viner Sound around 7:00, looked around & decided to anchor in the sound. They looked like they were too big to use the other buoy on the south side.
Tomorrow we'll head back to Pierre's.
