Got up this morning around 7:30 - 56' & very foggy. We even put the heat on for a few minutes to warm up the salon. Left Pierre's at 11:15 & it was 66' but still foggy although the fog is lifting so it's not down on the water any more. Well, I spoke too soon - 30 minutes into the trip the fog was back on the water & our radar was on.
Our plan was to go to Lagoon Cove Marina but once again they are full unless you are willing to raft in the front of the marina & then boats have to coordinate in the morning to get out. We want to leave early to time the series of rapids & Johnstone Straits so we are going back to Cutter Cove where we anchored on the way up. We were anchored by 2:00 & winds got up to 18 knots in the cove. It blew most of the night. There is 1 other boat which came in after us -a couple from SYC that we met at Pierre's.
Dinner was leftover halibut & flank steak with roasted corn.
